IBM Phoenix opens Nighthawk r2 access—and changes the throughput question
IBM now lists its first Nighthawk r2 QPU for paid plans, shifting operator attention from qubit count toward allocation, queueing, and full-workload timing.

Quantum-cloud comparisons now need an access-path record
A July cost-aware study and recent Braket retirements show why a hardware name is insufficient for a durable operating decision.

AWS and JPMorganChase put hybrid workflows at the center of quantum research
An August research update describes quantum devices as co-processors. Evaluating the whole workflow remains the key question.

Hardware or simulator? Label the experiment before comparing results
A cloud console can expose both. The execution target should travel with every result, chart, and decision memo.

How to read a hybrid quantum benchmark
Ask where the timer starts, which work is classical, and what the result was compared against.

What belongs in a quantum-cloud cost estimate?
Per-shot pricing is only one line. Build the estimate around the experiment and every service it consumes.

A quantum-cloud pilot needs an operating plan, not just an algorithm
Access, data handling, spend limits, and a credible classical comparison belong in the experiment brief from the start.

QuEra’s 2028 Braket plan is a roadmap, not an available service
The Libra announcement gives enterprise teams a future milestone to track—not evidence of a service they can deploy today.
